Moroso Kickout pan installed

After bashing in the bottom of my original truck pan last Saturday I finally put the Moroso Kickout pan on... I'll grab some pics later...

Truck pan is 1.75" below the bottom of the lakewood. moroso pan is ~~ 3/4" above the bottom of the lakewood. :yahoo:

I was able to use a stock 1970 dipstick and have it read correctly after cutting down the dipstick tube that came with the motor.

I am surprised you held out this long. :sweat: My original 502 RamJet pan had about 3" ground clearance. I knew that wouldn't last so I went with the Moroso kickout pan also. :noworry:

It was OK until I put the 550 coils in and lowered it another inch.

Wow, you had that truck pan under there? That thing is deep. We went with a canton kicked out sump because the truck pan does not fit with the flaming river rack and pinion.
