This is the first time for a RM seal on a LS1. The seal appeared good and dry around the inner side. It appears to be leaking around the outer ring at the bottom. Also found 2 loose bolts at top. This could also have been a leak point. (171,000 Miles)
1. Is this the normal area to fail?
2.What type of RTV do you use at the two bottom corners where the two gaskets meet?
3.If I have to reuse the flex plate bolts, what type of sealant do you use here?
