LS engine chart.....

Curious to look at or someone needs compile a chart of the various LS engines available....

for the whole series, listing cu inches, HPower, Torque, and finally fuel economy of the donor vechicle it came out of.....plus a rough estimate of what it would do as a stock programmed install in a C3......with NO CATS on it....

in other words a chart for hotrodders to select their engines by....

need also some ideas as to what heads are what, how they interchange if they do....and so forth....

Off the top of my head

1997 corvette - 345hp
1998 F-body - 305hp
1999-2002 - F-body - 320hp
2002 - Camaro SS/Firebird WS6 - 350hp

LS6
2001 Z06 - 385hp
2002-2004 Z06 - 405hp

4.8L truck - early 275hp, late 305 I think
5.3L truck - low 300s
6.0L truck (most desirable of the truck motors, as they have Z06 heads with larger chambers) - 345hp


LS2 - 400hp
LS7 - 505hp
LS3 - 6.2L - 430hp
(there is also a supercharged motor that I cannot remember going in the new ZR1, and the CTS-V)

The ZR1 - 620hp
the new CTS-V has the same motor detuned to 550hp

The 5.3L is the most common truck motor, they dont make the 4.8L anymore. the 5.3L would pobably make a good easily available donor motor.
