Is needed between cooling devices of different designs??

in a sandwich shituation.... meanding a/c, then trans cooler, then engine radiator, then fans....

that is the basic solution, or recommended spacing, given different airflow over each device, how much mechanical spacing is necessary to ensure good efficiency???

IIRC 1/4" to 1/2" is the target I've read about I've articles about cooling
