Hello all, my name is Pedro and im from the Dominican Republic. I own a 1970 stingray numbers matching that im restoring. Its a full blown frame off restoration but modified to my taste. Im adding flares to get the wide body look (any recommendations on where to get them and what to pay are welcome) and 18 inch wheels are a few of the mods im thinking off at the moment.

The interior is black and im thinking of going leather upholstery with yellow stitching. Looking for yellow seat belts to complete the look.

Im heading back to the shop now to see how its coming along.

Hope to share lots of information with you guys soon.

Close enough, indeed.... We felt it. I was in my offic when it happened but i thought i was getting dizzy:sick:, and i try to shake it off and it still went on. I figured it was the chair that was moving and then my cousin tells me the earth is shaking. I felt relief (because i wasnt getting dizzy for o reason) but extremely sad afterwards when i started getting reports of what was happening in Haiti. We r all helpint ut donating food, water, cloathes and medicine.

It;s a tragedy but all we can do is help and rebuild our neighboring country.

For factory duplicate seat belts, its Snake-Oyl in Texas. (Yes it's a weird name). They advertise in the NCRS Restorer magazine, also Corvette Fever magazine. They've done the harnesses for my 68 and 70 Vette. I have shoulder harnesses in my 68 Convertible. Only 35 Verts in 68 had shoulder harnesses. The harnesses are factory duplicates. That's the good news. The sobering news is that they are expensive. The harnesses in the 68 and 70 were something like $800 +. This price includes restoring the belt clips and other hardware. They do good work and they also talk with you on the telephone in detail to make sure you and they know exactly what they are going to do for you. ...OK yellow may not be factory original, but they can do the stitching, the hardware clips and reels to factory original.
