finally got me some new skins, man!

i think this is the first time since i got this car i actually paid money for actual brand new tires!

only set me back about $500 for these sumitomos. i generally don't buy new tires just because the car sits so much, it's a good way for them to just dry rot to hell. unfortunately, i was pretty much out of tire on the front. mrs 'dust told me i couldn't drive the car any more because she could see the air in the tires. not bad lookin' skins either, sumitomo HTRZ 2.
handles a little better too.

i have the sumitomo HTR 1 ...... the cheaper ones about $80 each. treadwear is 160 so they wear like race tires.

I took about 1/3 the tread off in 1 track day at Calabogie Canada.

i don't bother to run them on the street anymore. 17 inch tires ride like stone wheels on these cars.
