CL Ad — CHEETAH-BODY ON CORVETTE CHASSIS

I saw one of those at Barrett Jackson. It is pretty nicely done but it looks like its sitting about 1 or 2 inches high on the chassis. Not sure they are still doing it but the company that did it is http://classic-glass.com/

This car is for sale in Philadelphia right now. Porsche with a LS. Kind of Corvette related.

Here's the ad describing the power train.

Power in this 1974 Porsche 911 Targa comes from a 1999 chevy 427ci short block, aluminum V8. (rebuilt 3000 miles ago) There's nothing new about a big American V8 making its way into a vintage Porsche, however, a Targa hot rod such as this, is not something you see every day.
400+ hp (dyno 500hp and 500torque at the crank when rebuilt)
the V8 engine is coupled to a heavy duty Porsche 930 turbo 4-speed transaxle. The engine swap was completed at a total cost of $9,600 along with an MSD ignition box with 7k RPM limiter and kevlar/Ceramic multi stage clutch. The engine was freshened in 2013 (about 3,000 miles ago) inclusding new rings, bearings, 5 angle valve job, and new roller lifters.
This Targa was built as a fast street and autocross car by its original owner in Ohio.
