Canadian Owners ? Digital Dash Question?

The ’84 – ’89 digital dash clusters for Canada have different part numbers than their US counterparts. Can someone tell me what the differences are? What would I see or not see or what would my car do or not do if I installed a Canadian version in my car?

I would imagine Metric

the digi dashes can be switched from imperial to metric

I would think it has a different part number because the odometer would be metric in a export car. There for the cluster would carry a different number because of calibration differences.

I was going to say that my '87 had a dash switch on it to flip between metric to Imperial readouts....so doing that, I wonder why any change would be necessary??

it's the same dash for us, canada, europe, japan......
