You know the misery of hitting the gas pedal and brake at the same time with your size 13s. Drove me crazy. Here's a solution.





A Sawzall fine blade does the job.

Seen your post 'elsewhere', and told of my moving the lower firewall forward some 3" to allow swinging/lowering the pedals forward also, making more room for my legs and retaining the stick shift pedal even with the automatic o/drive conversion....'72 vert here....

Cool Idea,On my 78 I sit as far back as possible so I added a few extra rubber pads to my clutch pedal.I used elevator bolts,thay have flat washers as heads & just drilled thru the pads & pedal.

No. I'm working my way slowly through a list of ~20 round-to-its. You may have seen my rear spring cushion thread. The mechanicals are at the top of the list and without a hoist things move slowly and sometimes painfully. My back is not what it used to be!

I discovered last weekend some of that green stuff on one side of my rad at the core/side tank junction so....I'm getting estimates on a recore. It would be lovely to get a DeWitts but with cost/$ exchange/shipping/brokerage fee/taxes I am looking at close to $1,000. A recore is $200-250.

The current stereo is completely functional with a 50W x 4 head and four Pioneer 4 x 6" speakers so it is a lower priority. The pic shows what I have ready to go.



This is the current setup with the Pioneers up top and in the kick panels. My tunes are on an IPod Shuffle.
