Anyone know what the spray on coating that was factory applied to the interior floor pan of my 73 vette is? whats in it and what is the best way to remove it?

Dunno what it is but heat gun and scraper will get it off but it's certainly no fun job,

Was this applied to all C3 corvettes of this vintage and I was wanting to know what was in it because I need to sand it after scrapping because I need to do a glass repair to an area. Want to make sure it is safe to sand/grind off.
