C3 door inside door handle....

is about the worst PIA for breaking off the potmetal? handle block tabs, they hold the handle so you can get the screw in place , they are a PIA to deal with when broken...SO....

what sort of metal was used in that casting?? anyone make a replacement part? or just the whole damn assy?? last I saw, those assy's were a fortune...

Busted both of mine. Replace with aftermarket ones....no problems so far. Door latches/mechs were out of adjustment. Pulling hard to get the mech to release/open the door was most likely the cause of them breaking. Straitened that out and so far so good.
