Not a Vette but I thought it would be ok to show off my latest paint project 
don't have any "before" photos but the hood and bumper were pretty much destroyed by Florida Love Bugs....

I painted the hood off the car, it was too much work to remove the bumper so that stayed on for the re-paint.... paint matches just fine although it was mixed acc to the paintcode and the car is 5 yrs old... it's a great match, if you didn't know the hood and bumper were painted you won't notice....

reflections like a mirror... not yet wetsanded and not yet buffed....
