Autocraft ignition scope?

Does any one own an Autocraft Auto Scope ignition scope? I picked a portable one up the other day but it didn’t come with a manual. The scope has 3 inputs (coil, inductive clamp, and capacitive clamp and coil pickup). Here’s how I think it hooks up.

> The coil input goes to the coil- or tach out on my HEI.
> The inductive clamp goes to the #1 plug wire.
> The capacitive pickup clips on top of the HEI coil.

Is this correct?

I THINK the piece that clamps on top of the coil on a HEI, is also inductive...it reads the coil field....which is open air with no metal surround other than the coil laminations themselves, obviously.... and it sounds correct....
