Alternator charging 15.5 volts?

Hi
My alternator is charging between 14.7 to 15.5 volts @ 1500 rpm. will this cause a problem?

I thought 14.7 was normal. 15.5 might be a little high.

I have just installed a used regulator that I had here. now it is 14 volts.
