1975 gas tank

Has anyone here removed the bladder from a 1975 gas tank while it is still in the car?
If so how is it done?

Have to drop the tank.
Take the sender out, then the bladder, cut off the neck gasket and reuse it for the sender.
Bladder material cut in strips is great for remounting tank and straps.

I was reading my owners book for a 1975 about long term storage without gas and it said if you plan to store the car without gas you should put 30 weight oil in the bladder. Does anyone know how much and how to do this?

Just wipe a coating of recommended oil on bladder surface. This helps preserve it.

This is what I do, works great. If you get smashed in the rear the bladder isn't going to make much difference anyway. They collapse and close off the capcity of the fuel in the tank.
