With my 14 years old std Nitto tires.......

I tried to do it again but couldn't get any grip and the next best ET was 13.08

Pretty good, you can have lotsa fun with that ok.....:bounce::bounce:

IMO, anything with street tires you can actually DRIVE to the track and turn less than 13 with is a good ride....

Well assuming you get more than 10 mpg, also, these days....

It was a bigblock with slicks, he won the start (but got red light).
After 1/8" a was passing him.
Don't think anything happend, except that I was lucky and faster that race.
That race was the only one under 13 sec for me.

What do you expect when you're finally getting some new tires ?? I would risk breaking stuff with slicks and no safety loops but new street tires should be a good improvement.... you have 16" rims so there are quiet a few good tires available. 245-50-16 front and 255-50-16 rear ?? The Falken 512 is a good value, we've used that tire in these sizes on the Camaro.... well, value.... at least here in the US, like $80 a tire ... no idea what tires cost you in Sweden....

I'm dreaming too: 19X12 rims and 325-30-19 tires for the C6..... ONE tire is $500... ouch.....not going to happen unless I win the lottery....
