I found a pair of the Corvette style steel rallies that are 10 in wide.I did not know they had these.Would they be aftermarket? Also what I want to know is would they fit ok on the back of my 82 and what about 295/50/15 tires? Thanks
Just as a comparison, take a look at this:
15" tire selection http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireS...rue&width=295/&ratio=50&diameter=15&x=11&y=12
17" tire selectionhttp://tires.tirerack.com/search?p=...726382&isort=score&view=list&w=275 40 17&rk=1
BTW, I have the Sumitomo HTR-Z 2 on my car now and they're 5x the tire any of the 15" street tires are.
Cute, I see that TRack does not list a 275/50/17 tire as existing anymore...
simply wonderful...

Without flares there's no way they will fit.
A 3.5" backspace wheel will have 7.5" "dish" or forward space...thats 2.5" more than stock, so you would have to jack the rear way up in the air to make sure there would be no wheel to fender contact..not a nice look IMHO.

I think you can have 10 in, rally wheels custom made with Wheels Vintique
