General Information

Still on jacks going through a lengthy frame ON resto and no real decent car pics. Here's just a few of the bits and pieces I've done during the resto process. The tranny dipstick's probably a bit of an overkill but my young bloke though it'd be a great idea...

Apart from powder coating or chroming everything I could unbolt from the engine, I've repainted the entire engine bay.

I overhauled the front end and installed all poly bushes.

I pissed off all the vacuum headlight crap that plain REFUSED to work and converted the headlights to electric.

Installed a Jeep box and Hydroboost, made up braided lines and fabricated brackets to run a cooler in the nose.

Overhauled the brake calipers with 'O' rings then gave them a funky powder coat.

I have a new radiator and shroud to install (soon, hopefully) and bla bla bla. The list goes on and on - the usual shit that the rest of you have probably done before me!

Update:
The BOSS is well and truly off jacks. I spent a couple of days on the wheels and now I've started on the body. I've done a few mods and repairs to the body - 72 egg crate louvers into the front fenders (to take the "carbon fiber" louvers), after market rear bumper modified with a C5 "Corvette" script, modified fuel filler area with a Monza style cap, an after market hood scoop and I repaired the rear side marker lamp "holes". I started rubbing back those areas when I discovered that previous prep work was abysmal and the existing paint came away in sheets!

I have the nose cone off at the moment repairing it and will fill the join line (as I've done on the rear) when I bolt it back on. I may yet cut out the area behind the front number plate too...

The nose cone's back on and the join line is filled. I've primed the car with epoxy and now I'm going round doing any cosmetic body work.
