General Information

Purchased in July of 2007.

Thought all it needed was an alignment and interior refreshed.
Boy was I never more wrong.

Previous owner replaced the brake calipers, radiator, water pump, carb, seat covers, fuel pump, engine, removed all the emmission stuff, and a 6 footer paint job.

So far I've replaced the heater core, rear spring, strut rods, tires, gas tank, intake, plugs, wires, carpet, stereo, dash bezels, cigarette lighter, glove box light, door seals, idler arm, and rear brake pads. Pulled the trans to replace the clutch found out the pivot stud had come loose and was destroyed. Replaced the pivot stud and installed a Centerforce dual friction clutch. Since the trans was all ready out my brother in law suggested it was only two more bolts to pull the engine and "clean up" the engine compartment. LOL

Currently the engine and trans are out. Engine is painted as well as engine compartment. Heater/AC box was removed and cleaned out with new seals installed. Now I'm contemplating having the steering box rebuilt and replacing the steering power valve and ram and hoses before it gets it's alignment.

OK-It's back together now. Rebuilt the front steering, 4 wheel alignment, added a high rise hood, Hooker exhaust is on. Finishing up some interior stuff and replacing weather seals.

Future mods include a shaved 79 front bumper to look like a 74 nose, new 74 style rear bumper modded to fit, and new paint. I'll be in too deep to ever sell it, so hopefully it'll stay in the family a while.
