    Willwood D8

SuperBuickGuy : from this picture, it looks like you used a front rotor in the rear (or your rotor don't have any hole for park brake adjustment) : in the front, I see a rear rotor (with hole for park brake adjustement) !? front and rear rotors have different offsets and that can cause your...

re-flaring my cfi sending unit and existing fuel lines for these fittings possible?

I modified my fuel sender using weld-in bungs from Aeroquip (FBM2872) you need to cut the bubble on the stock line, drill the bung so it fits on the line then braze it.

    Hydraulic clutch Q's

you can modify the stock f-body shifter to fit in the stock console. here is the LT1 T56 in my 82 stock shifter : I cut the shifter, welded a 1/4" flat iron to offset the shifter where I wanted it. it's not in the stock hole as I wanted it centered in the console.

trying to figure out my itb parts

it won't work with a TPI. you need a VAFRP (vacuum assisted fuel pressure regulator) so the absolute fuel pressure follows engine load (this way, relative fuel pressure is constant at the injector tip). in a LSx engine, fuel pressure doesn't move with engine load and the difference is computed...

trying to figure out my itb parts

yes. it started its life as a 7747. but it's now and "EBL Classic" ECM (ROM less, lockers board and custom code). more details here : http://www.dynamicefi.com/EBL_Classic.php I don't think it will be worse than using an 85+ fuel pump in a stock 82 crossfire with the little 5/16" return line...

trying to figure out my itb parts

with the stock 82 fuel sender, the return line (5/16in.) is below fuel level, almost to the bottom of the tank (near pump). I'm using an EBL modified truck ecm. you can plug up to 8 analog sensors. I plan to monitor fuel pressure (only need the autometer sender) so I should be able to see this...

trying to figure out my itb parts

I'm doing my fuel system the same way. I'm using a surge tank I got in the UK. pressure in the surge tank will be only 2-3psi. there is an unregulated (freeflow) return/overflow line from the surge tank to the fuel tank. I don't think it will be a problem. JoBy has done his own version of...

    need some Muncie/bellhousing/shifter measurements

my transmission is so high in the tunnel it needed a few hits with a big hammer near to the yoke (passenger side).

    need some Muncie/bellhousing/shifter measurements

you don't need any adaptor plate when using an LT1-T56 unit with its LT1 bellhousing with a small block (or big block). bellhousing bolt pattern is compatible with old engines. you only need a conversion flywheel (I went with a fidanza alu flywheel). I don't remember bellhousing thickness but...

    need some Muncie/bellhousing/shifter measurements

here is my T56 : I'm using the f-body bellhousing (shorter than a stock bellhousing and adaptor plate) and the pull-type clutch. here is the f-body shifter : using the LT1-T56, I was able to reuse my stock TH700R4 driveshaft and slip yoke. I only needed to modify the crossember (a few...

    need some Muncie/bellhousing/shifter measurements

I don't have the measurements for the muncie, but I have the T56 so I can help. I used a LT1-T56. it's a rebuilt/fixed tranny from an '94 Z28. It's mounted behind my SBC in my 82. here, you can see how far is the stock f-body shifter with the stock 77-82 console. in order to move the...

    82 with 377 and T56

just wanted to say hello from France guys. I'm building/restoring a 82 coupe (not collector) I started after I bent a rod a few years ago. the only part I kept from stock engine is the block. I installed an eagle forged stroker kit w/ 6" h-beam and flat top srp pistons (10.3:1 CR). I decked...
