    EXTERNAL AERODYNAMICS

...found APR has a “garage sale” page. Seems to be 30% off or better. https://shop.aprperformance.com/collections/garage-sale I was a bit shocked to see the swan mount wing I picked up for $1000, is priced at 3400. Apparently, they charge $1000 for the supports. Wing is $2500...

    Some interesting metal working tools

Well, if you want to save some $$, you would just need to find a junk sawzall. Then strip it down and remove the main shaft. Add a handle and maybe a wing nut release, done.

no high speed impacts with jersey barriers - so presume 'yes'

My guess - lowered the chassis and kept full range of suspension movement? Looks like a "mini" spoiler? NO Wing? Maybe saw a Diffuser in the last frame or 2. Belly pan? Full qualified cage? Not quite a GS - Could be much- much fun. Cheers - Jim

The exhausts exit inside of a channel (that is part of the diffuser?). Would they have been better off exiting the exhaust away from the body work, Like extending the exits?

Long Overdue Progress! Doors Finished 3/17/26

...is better. Making a huge mess outside instead of in my garage. The giant metal eagle hanging is almost ready to take outside. It has hinged wings and sits on a pivot with a heavy counterbalance. The wind moves the bird wings slowly so it looks like its flying. I am going to paint it up...

    Internal Body Aerodynamics

So all the phase change materials (and other theories) talk was wrong and front and rear tire temperatures are controlled by flexing the front wing? I think the budget for a top F1 team is $500 million per year. This is why.

    Internal Body Aerodynamics

I think he mentions the reason why keeping downforce constant from the underbody wing helps keep tires cooler. When the downforce changes suddenly, the traction forces change rapidly, loading and unloading tires. The sudden changes in load is responsible for wear and heat, I believe is what...

That is an aero problem. That great big, and highly efficient nine lives wing created a ton of low pressure above the deck which drew very hot exhaust gases up the back of the car. The modified exhaust and tune contributed some by creating a hotter than normal exhaust plume, but the aero is the...

    EXTERNAL AERODYNAMICS

...A front radiator diffuser duct is formed by the CF panels at the sides of the brake ducts and an upper curved panel. The center bar and wing act as an airflow "splitter" to direct air toward the upper portion of the diffuser/radiator. I get my carbon fiber from Fiberglast...

...material (aluminum), high shear forces (albeit limited in possible angular distance) between the rotor hat and the hub, along with the lateral forces and multiple temperature gradients at the hat/wheel bolt circle, I'll openly admit I'm just winging it and basing my decision on my comfort level.

He discusses other concepts near the end. I like the one which stalls half the wing.
