all the changes on a LT1 to make it obd2 was the addition of a crankshaft position sensor.
As for obd2 with a distributor I don't think there ever was. Except maybe in a truck.
Think I would rather have a 4th gen f-body t5 then a ford one, at least it would be much newer. But I think they use a ford type bellhousing pattern.
here is my 97 3.8 firebird trans.
I will be cutting my 82's doors up tomorrow and figure maybe someone here could use patch areas for rusted doors or skins.
free just pay shipping
Wont ship whole door though, to much hassle.
TCS is a PITA anyways. All my LT1's TCS does is kick my foot up off the floor. Sometimes it is just plain annoying especially when there isn't much traction issue.
Newer vettes might be different though, but mine defaults on when you start the car so I also have to disable it with the switch.
I was from the 82 that I parted out. Since I have almost all my c4 suspension polished thought I might actually try making a jig and convert the frame for c4 suspension.
Just bored, not planning on putting it on the street.
I want to govern my 97 firebird to just a bit above speed limit and was wondering if this is possible. Thought I would see if a 75-80mph setting could be done.
Okay this motor ran fine in the donor Z28 it came out of but after putting it in my camaro it now makes this noise.
Highly doubt it to be bearing noise

Today we removed all the interior on the 97 Z28 donor car. My girlfriend will be cleaning every possible thing on this Z28 while it's interior is out. The project is this 1997 Z28 electronics and drivetrain is going into my nice 97 V6 camaro and it's V6 will be going back into the Z28.
I am...
Have any of you used some? which brands would you recommend?
The camaro I bought looses pressure and would like a possible easier fix then digging into it.
