Can't speak for Vettes. We sell a lot of them here at CI. We cover F, X and B body cars with the 2" drop spindle. Everyone I have talked to like the way they work. Just some clearance issues.
I didn't even know dropped spindles were available. If you really want to lower your carn they are a good idea as this will keep the ball joint angles from getting close to binding.
Jeez...been a while, I bought a Global West suspension Delrin/Aluminum busihing kit and some other parts, I forget, for my '70 A body Lemans sport Vert I had a 455 in it....anyway they sent a kit of custom turned lower BJ also to put in '80? Caddy front spindles..which lowered the front end about 2" or so....complete differant package...changed the geometry of the arms a good bit also , and the handling with a quicker ratio later Camaro box was greatly improved....damn 4100 lbs POS actually went around a corner fairly decent for being a HEAVY old monster with a 800 lbs engine in front, 800 lbs filled with helium, that is.....
