I'm glad I sold a few houses (one in 2006, the other in 2007) prior to this year. The houses lost 100k each, in value since I sold them. We are headed straight for a depression unless a miracle takes place.

Yeah sometimes I get carried away. But I get so pissed about how those in power are selling this country, & the people who live & die for it, down the drain for their own profit. (& yeah I meant Israel attack Iran).
But not all 'conspiracy theories' are fiction---There are varying amounts of truth in many of them.
You & I are losing civil liberties one new law, one new regulation at a time. Like lobsters in the pot, it's happening so slowly we don't realize it. We don't even know about many of the laws which can be used against us if someone wishes. I have had several experiences in the last several years which have made me more aware of it. I will not get into that here. The old excuse "If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about" is BS. All it takes is a grain of suspicion, a typographical error, a misunderstood comment, a fuzzy security camera photo, and you are on a list

We have to read the history of this mess before we can comment, I have read up on it, and remember a LOT of it,'....as I lived in the Wash DC suburbs, and had a red line around certain areas/zipcodes in the city we did NOT SEND ANY TV SERVICE trucks....reason....crooks, and bad checks....guys getting stuck up for cash, parts/supplies/vandalism to the trucks....:shocking:
so the banks were accused of the same thing.....well no freeking WONDER, same thing different field....
so Carter and liberals passed certain regs on the banks to write those areas anyway, and it's NOT just inner cities either....well....Fanni/Freddie held the toxic papers along with all the rest of the notes.....
so when the price of gas started in, with crooked rate changes, and stupid ADDITIONAL regs passed under who else??? CLINTON,,.....about 12-15 years ago....well that finally loaded the bomb in the truck,......they kept running and running, and FEDERALLY ENFORCED LOOSE LENDING....kept disqualified people buying houses....it was over after a few years....
so natch prices went up like a rocket....but when you look at the
amounts, it doubled in the last ~8 years or so.....so then a 30% reduction is not so bad, but every house sold in the last 3 years is now upside down....
SO the congress people ID' d so far that are totally guilty.....Frank, Schumer, and from there I not sure, but you KNOW Kennedy was in on it....along with all the rest of the liberals....NOBAM has taken the THIRD largest kickback from his buddy at fanny/freddy.....along with Frank as number ONE......
8 TIMES Bush2 here tried to fix it, they ALL knew.....but even though the R's 'controlled' congress, woopie doo, it was NOT enough of a majority to put down the D's objections to the much need repairs to the system...so nothing was done.....
I blame the R's for not going public with names and addresses, I damn sure would have.....
McCain is the closest one likely to blow the lid off.....and Palin is right behind him, you can argue her ability, but they ALL are stupid....but you can't argue their HONESTY.....shit, McCain don't EVEN do earmarks.....
