I know you looking at low cost but you can buy a video card for up to 8 cameras and it will record and hold 7 days of video on an 80 gig drive. I have a Swann security system in my home. 4 camera. One on the cars in the driveway, one at the front door, one in the house pointed at the rear entry and one in the bedroom...lol just kidding. 4th camera is on the side of the house pointed in front of the house for those drive by cases of the ex wife.
