Time for a change

That is exactly what I am reading on the web. Eventually I am going to upgrade to a roller cam.

Guys, watch for one thing, those aftermarket 'racing' roller lifters wit the toggles on each pair....for aftermarket fitment into older blocks.....maybe well fine for petted over race engines.....torn down every year or so.....

BUT, so it seems, the toggles will wear out and get loose, then the lifter flips sideways and total destruct.....

I HEAR the dog bone stock type can be retrofitted into early blocks, but the machine work is hardly worth the money....find a later small block...

I have NO comment about BBC as I have never owned one....
