I'm sure you can find a used bezel for under $50 shipped. Cut that to fit a modern stereo... simple....

A decent head unit is under $100 - Kenwood,Sony,Pioneer...any name brand, if you're only looking for a head unit that plays MP3 CDs and radio most of the cheaper ones will do... it's getting expensive when you want USB port, Ipod in, remote, 2 pre amp oulets, separate subwoofer out and so on....

I think it's a good choice - it has a pre-out so you can add an amplifier later. Alpine type 6x9 speakers ??? Do you have a model number ?? These might benefit from a small amp... the radio only has 20Watts rms, 50W peak.

Only bad thing is they require signature at delivery so someone has to be home when they deliver... they ship FedEx so I usually have to drive across town to the FedEx location to get my stuff... well, their prices are so good that even I don't complain... :devil:

Hooked on Electronics actually has that radio 10bucks cheaper....too bad they don't have it in stock. They have the speakers for 17 bucks cheaper.
