Remembering my best friend

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my father when I was 8. Never had the chance to discuss cars with him, let alone race them with him, would have been fun though. What made him take that step ?

I hope I say this right.
Your father made up his mind and did what he felt was right and still be his own man. I know that it doesn't make you feel any better. But, keep that in mind.

My father is 81 and having lost my mother last Christmas he is not doing well. He was married to my mother for 60 years. I try to help him. but he still wants to do what he feels is best and his way. I have to repect that. Even though I don't always agree.

Try not to drive yourself down with "what ifs".

Tommy, I am very sorry for your loss.

My Dad died when I was 19. We had our differences when I was growing up but one thing we shared was a love of cars. I got it from him and I thank him for it to this day.

I hope the things that you and your Dad shared live on though you.
