New meats

:bump:

this is car-porn :bump:

there are plenty of wheels you can buy in your choice of diameter and backspacing, it's just a tad more expensive than using (relatively) inexpensive BMW rims with adapters.... Centerline, AmericanRacing,Foose to name a few.... a 10x17 rim with 4" BS can easily be $400 :amazed: :skeptic: :goodevil:

my custom AR rims in 11x17 with 3.5" BS were amazingly cheap at $400 a piece ......

I think what makes these beamer wheels look so good is that they have some dish to them. And it's a different pattern than the torque thrust/craiger mag look that everybody has. The huge stock calipers serverly limits what will fit.

Running dynalite calipers allows you to bolt just about any wheel on.

Thanks!
I couldnt find a wheel that I liked (twin 5 spoke) that was in that price range. It was either these, or Boze Forged Lateral-G's. Which cost a fortune.

I agree... Older cars need some kind of dish, otherwise it looks kind of odd IMO. Now that Ive got 18's, I can stuff in the brembos I have sitting in my garage with some nice 14" rotors :smash:

Those really, really look good....what are you going to do about the tire rubbing the rack?

Thanks! Ill probably modify one of the steering stops to keep it off the rack tube. The only time I plan on being full lock is attempting to park at low speeds anyway

I would like to use these on my 96 camaro but the center bore is too small. Maybe a machine shop could open it up to the correct size ?

Making the hole bigger is a lot easier than making it smaller :)

yes, a machine shop should be able to do this
