Snicker, the rustbucket had a roll bar in it too, just a single hoop...and a wide white stripe down the center.....
can anyone spell, RED ALERT, they done run the piss out of it already and had 15+++ year to do it with???

Nah, nothing like that man, this was a cheepie vinyl overlay very wide just up and over the center...red with white stripe, not so very good looking but it was old....thing that killed it, the doors were rusted out....can't kill rust without cubic bux....
I have to look this one over very/more carefully....if any problems, I have a welding buddy and we can rebuild it with leftover battleship metal....

Growing up on Long Island we only needed 3 tools in the trunk of our cars.
A Hammer....to bang the rust back in place
A Roll Of Duct Tape.......to secure the rust in place
And A Can Of Rustoleum.........to paint the rust

Years ago, I never forget my ex BIL bought a used Volvo on L/Island.....about 5 years old, thought he got a killer deal....
he is the one who got (financially) killed on that deal....a sea of rust, basically just parted it out.....:trumpet:
