making a once piece top, hard top?

i am in the process of removing the trim off my t-tops. ive been pondering the idea of making a one piece top for a while.

what would it take to make a one piece top?

what would it take to make the car a hard top? window framed doors?

something very simular to this car.. TT has more pics..

That car has no birdcage it has a custom made sheet metal a pillar and roof and also it has a windshield frame on the doors with plexiglass in there. it's all about aerodynamics.

Doesn't someone sell a 1 pc roof? Didn't Guldstrand have them?

i dont know. i know astro top has a one piece glass roof.. but its glass..

i love the way that car looks, doors and roof really set it off. one of these days.. maybe

Hi Shirley, the astro top i,ve got on mine isnt glass ,I got a couple of inches extra head room now which is a bonus. My only thing against it is we have to decide if its roof on or off before we leave home as its too big to fit back there with my speaker set up.

i mainly want to get rid of the bad fit of the t tops.. it curves in areas where it should be flat. i know i can fix this with fiberglass since im going to remove my chrome moldings soon, but im gauging whether or not it would be cost/time effective over an astro top IF they have a non glass model
