I WON a SB Chevy.

I bought a raffle ticket last winter for a complete 355 chevy motor (350HP) built by a local speed shop. They had the drawing today and I wont the thing.

I will post pictures Tuesday when I pick it up.

well i went and picked up my winnings today. Here is the photos




Turns out it is a .040 over 327 originally a 300HP motor. Has all new balanced internals with a 260 cam. A bunch of that chrome stuff you have to clean and a new Edelbrock 750 carb and intake along with new distributor. Had the build sheet and price of 4300 bucks.

We have decided this is going in the 77. Had plans to put TPI on the 77 however this saved all the time and effort of messing with that. Maybe TPI on the 327 later down the road.

327 should run pretty neat, remove the tacky chrome bits for some nice aluminum parts (not edelbrock elite yuck!) and it's a real nice motor.

i biult a .030 over 327 for my buddies 63 vette and the engine runs very nice, has excellent throttle responce and sounds pretty mean.
