Hey CD, we seem to be paralleling here,
week before Tuesday I laid awake worrying that I'd be running out of propane soon leaving the stricken wife without heat. Thusly I called first thing wednesday morning for a delivery. They could either deliver the next day or two weeks further out. Obviously I chose the Thursday delivery. Fearing the bride couldn't deal with it I took Thursday off to facilitate the delivery.
At 9:30 AM UPS delivered a package I had to forward to England. At 10:00 AM I returned to the driveway to find water pouring out of the garage doors.
First thought, That damned pup is playing with the hose again!!
Oops, pup is in the back seat.
Oops, hose is just over there in the grass.
Oops, this ain't good!
Seems a frozen pipe in the attic of the garage burst and thawed in the few minutes I was gone.
It made one Hell of a mess in that time but if I'd been at work that day it would've run for eight hours before I got home to stop it!:clobbered:
My lovely Alzheimers afflicted bride cried demanding to know what she could've done...I said, get your water wings?
