700R4 with a 373 Rear

I fully understand the bucking problem and its even worse at 1000-1100 rpm. really what i do now mostly is just shift into 3 when i get into that situation. and i think then the ratio is just the same as the TH350. i bet with the fuel injected cars its not so noticeable since they produce more torque at lower Rpms.

It's just as noticeable with fuel injection, trust me! With the cam I have anything below about 1600 RPM is a little choppy. It doesn't like 1000 RPMs at all. It idles at 800.
