I have installed a VBP Dual Mount spring (front and rear) on my car. When I installed it, I set the ride height at a predetermined position. This was done with the weight of the car resting on platforms with a polyethylene slip sheet on top so the tires would be able to move laterally with suspension movement.
The next day the ride height had changed (about 1/4" lower). I recall hearing that it takes time for the springs to "settle" and you should drive the car 100 miles before making final adjustments. VBP has been out of business for a long time so there isn't much info available on this.
Anyone know if this is true?
EXAMPLE OF SPRING (not mine)
