I have an 87 and the driver seat has moved forward so I can't get into the car. I have a button inside the console that will move the seat up and down also the lumbar section but I can't get the seat to retract. Please don't laff to loud. Is the seat track also wired by fuse I can't find any blown.Any help would be app thanks. Also I would like to know how to get the seat removed.

I know if you push the bottom of the leading edge of the seat cushion to the rear pretty hard the thing will lift out the entire center section of the seat bottom, leaving the side bolsters, I had those fancy seats in my '87 too, years ago.....That should let you get to most of the shit....

The seat is pretty easy to remove, grab uder the seat bottom shell and find the large bent wire clip on the front push back and up and the seat bottom will pop out of the bucket, carefull with the lumbar and power control hoses and wires. Carefully disconnect them, the lumbar hoses are a pain

Now you will see 4 large bolts in the corners holding the bucket to the seat frame, undo those and the whole seat will come out leaving the frame bolted to the tub, you now have access to the rail to floor bolts
