interesting coincidence - I was just talking to the engine designer about putting the Buick motor in my Corvette

a bit of specs

455 block, sleeved the 430
half-fill
full girdle
custom pistons (I looked for chinese ones, but had to find american ones, I know someone will be disappointed in that )
H beam rods - Callies
retrofit roller cam, roller lifters
edelbrock heads, cnc ported
twin, ball bearing turbos 66mm
EFI - megasquirt MS3x

call me crazy, but 900 hp in a 2500 lb car sounds like my kind of insanity

replacing a chevrolet lump for a buick - priceless


... and this motor is simply a template for the insanity motor.... s/b 3x the hp (custom block)

Hell, I would love my little 97 buick 3.8 in my 82 vette. Same power as it's mighty 350CFI engine but lots better fuel economy.

bsfc is obscene at the engine size and hp output I'm dealing with.... still, it'll be a lot of fun no matter what shell I put it in.
