Anyone know what size t-bolts are required to attach Hooker style
side pipes on a 77?

The T-bolts that come with the Hookers are not all that great (rubbish in my opinion) - considering the price of Hookers it's an insult to the customer....
Most likely you'll have to open up the slots in the frame to get the pipes to fit right, might as well have a local shop weld up stainless bolts to a small stainless strip, thread size is 3/8" if I remember correctly but it doesn't really matter because the holes in the brackets that are welded to the sidetubes have clearance, M10 will work too...

Over the last several years, I've read about problems with fit, etc, the Hooker side pipes. You'd think that these problems would be corrected. It's only been 41 years now. I think if you have a fitment problem, they claim there's something wrong with your car; i.e. the frame is bent because it's been in an accident.

I put a set on this past spring. They fit well however I changed the hardware all around, including Stage 8, fasteners. You may want to think about fabricating your own side mounting system. I added e clips to mine to hold the side bolts in place until tightened.
