Flashing Alternator light 1990 L98

My alternator light comes on intermitantly. Seems to happen usually when the car is warm, and usually a change in acceleration will make it stop. The battery is ok, new alternator (happened with the old too), belt is in good shape. Any thoughts? Thanks, Jack

Don't know about the 90's, but the old ones had a habit of breaking the wires just out of the connector. Twist a little and they work and then they don't. Might be a place to start anyway.

I agree, sounds like a bad connection or wire.
