85 Vette wheels need repair, where?

Hello everyone!

My 85 vette wheel coatings are peeling. Where can I get them re-paired? Or do you know of a replacement source? Thanks.

Stock wheels? Probably cheaper to find another set in good condition. There's no market for them so they are very cheap. Other option is to have a paint shop strip the old clear and repaint, or you could strip the old clear and polish them.

I just did a set of 120 buck '89 wheels off Craigslist for my car....tired of the '92 vette 17x9.5 that were on there...

I used Aircraft paint stripper, from Sherwin williams store....just a quart....took off the old crap in a good afternoon....for a new finish.....I just use Krylon Crystal Clear....cheeep...easy, available, lasts for years....
