Does anyone have factual information on the location of the rear deck "Stingray" nameplate (rear, passenger side of rear "deck" area) for a '64 Roadster? (Coupe location is different) If you have an original, untampered-with roadster, could you send me (or post) photos of the emblem with a tape measure showing location from deck lid centerline and from the rear edge of the car? Any info would be great!

I'm not sure if they moved the location from one year to the next, but I've measured a '63, a non-original '64, and 2 66's and they've all been different. But I have been able to get the correct measurement for the '64 Roadster. For anyone else needing the info, here is the "real" spec as provided by John Hinckley:

Using the "Sting Ray" bar at the bottom of the emblem as the reference, the outboard edge of the bar is 6-1/2" measured laterally from the raised feature line on the quarter panel, and the bottom edge of the bar is 5-1/2" measured fore-aft from the rear edge of the rear deck.

Thanks Lars I'll put that away for future reference.
