    Plug wires, header wrap

The price you pay for big header tubes is apparently a set of spark plug wires too frequently for my wallet! TT posted a link to a ceramic thing that relocates the electrode but that looks goofy and fragile. Who makes a nice header wrap I can use in the plug area to give the boots a fighting...

Anyone use NASCAR p/s pump like this?

Has anyone used CV Products brand of power steering pump? Here is a link to one on Ebay that includes the reservoir, hoses and possibly a titanium pulley. My '68 has big front tires and the factory pump is not getting it done and TT had suggested an aftermarket pump. Anyone have experience...

    Ford IRS retro fit

Can you post a few picture of this? I have never seen a Viper rear or any of the suspension bits and it sounds like it has some different pieces than the Vette D44 I am used to working with. Thanks if you can!

    04 Z06 transmission failure

http://www.ddperformance.com/ I used their Godzilla box as it is now called. Viper output shaft, steel shift forks, larger bearings I think too, bronze shift pads etc. This was a really nice piece and has survived a while with a hot rodded LS7 (not like yours!) but is rated at 750 ft-lbs...

    Ford IRS retro fit

What is the spline count on the Viper units? Also what are you guys using for the outer shafts if using CVs? The C3 version is a pencil!

    Ford IRS retro fit

TT all the Mark VIII are aluminum. I tried to convince my wife to let me buy a used one for the DOHC V-8 and IRS. The look was priceless! VooDoo - do you have any photos of the set up you have based on the 8.8 IRS?

    Ford IRS retro fit

I am looking at options that have a more durable CV axle and stub axle design. Improving the toe change, stupid trailing arm design, fit larger tires etc are bonuses. I have a very good, all new rear in the car with the big 4:11 case, shot peened HD carrier and actual L88/ZL1 carrier gears...

    Ford IRS retro fit

Has anyone attempted or considered converting their C3 to the variety of Ford IRS available? I have seen T-Brids and Mark VIII for $2,500 for the WHOLE car! I had an '04 Cobra with a few aftermarket parts that made almost 400 RWHP and the rear end was bullet proof with sticky 285 wide tires...

    L88 air cleaner

I have the full L88 intake, inner air box and hood on my '68. This includes the spark arrestor on the carb and the air filter element and wire form in the hood. I had the spark arrestor off today and had a mean spit back starting in the cold (tuned for 60 - 90 degrees F but it was 20 degrees F...

Key off - what should work?

Weird - on a '66 does it make sense the key can be removed when the car is running? Also all the stuff still works with the key off: lights, headlights roll over, power windows, heater fan, radio. It did not do that in the past that I remember. Could my ignition switch be shot? The battery...

    58-62 grille opening

I am fitting my grille shell, eye brow trim and bumpers. The grille shell fits odd and I need to fill some areas to make it fit nice. I also noticed the edges fit in a recess flush with the body but as the opening turns the recess fades away and the grille shell sits on the body. My car was...

Lighter (substitute) C3 power brake booster?

Thanks! That is what I can do with a small fortune of someone else's money! This car had no expense spared from new LS7 Z06 engine to six piston Bear monoblock brake and custom wheels. Frighteningly quick, corners great and stops traffic everywhere it goes. Perfect.

Lighter (substitute) C3 power brake booster?

Sorry I did not get back to you on this I lost track of the thread. Attached are some photos of the brackets and booster we used for a C2 conversion. The C5 booster studs bolt to the brackets and the brackets bolt to the firewall using the C2 mounting position.
