    Aluminum flywheel

My 355 puts out 456 hp at 6200, is not on the track, is more or less a daily driver, with my setup it runs 68.4 mph at 3000. I have a solid flat tappet cam in the car right now which is a bit lacking on low end torque, next service will put back a solid roller , will end up with substantially...

    Aluminum flywheel

I used a Fidenza 198681 Flywheel 13.5 lb with a 1045 steel friction surface, Ram 3000 series pressure plate, Ram 300 series Disc and their Release bearing. If you go this route and there is substantial mileage on your clutch rods I would urge you to pull them out of the car and inspect for...

    Aluminum flywheel

I have a Fadenza Lite weight flywheel in my 70, with a Richmond and 3.36 rear gear, used Ram clutch and Press Plate, much better drivability. will accelerate harder in the higher gears. I have 3.27 low gear, the lite weight wheel is a good match with that. I would go this route, you will gain...

    "cheap" manual conversion, possible?

Richmond 5 speed is virtually a bolt in, you need to slightly modify the bolt in transmission mount, need a turbo 400 driveshaft yoke. very easy swap with great results. If you eventually go with a Richmond, be warned there is NO REVERSE LOCK OUT on the Hurst Shifter for this tranny, not sure...

    Swap 1983 Seats into a 1970 Coupe

Swap 1982 Seats into a 1970 Coupe Last year I swapped a set of 1982 seats into my 1970 LT-1 Coupe, they are almost a complete bolt in, are a great fit, provide a substantial weight savings and are much more comfortable than the old 1970 seats. The 82 Seat tracks fit right on your bolt holes...

"On a side note, a 3.73 may be scary

3.70 gears with a 25.7" tall tire (p225*60R15) = 3400 @ 70mph in a stick car, in an auto you have 5 to 7 % slip to add to this.

    Muncie swap project

Guys I will caution you on aftermarket clutch forks, you will find that even though they look like a stock fork there is actually a subtle difference in the shape, also and most important , the stock fork is made of thicker metal and is therefore stiffer, by about 30%. IF you have a HD Pressure...
