    Vapor lock, fuel separating issues

I don't get a reading on the gauge but the fuel is strong going to the regulator and the return line. Im assuming, the carbs take what they need and the rest of the fuel goes back to the tank. So not to worry about the pressure?

    Vapor lock, fuel separating issues

My car starts up great, idle, runs awesome, but after it warms up, it won't stay running. I checked the temperature at the base of my dual eldebrock carburetors, average 130 degrees. From what I researched, the fuel is separating or Vapor locked Things I changed to help, 1- added a 1" spacer...

    Vaporlock fuel

Sorry, I just saw this. I have been working way too much. I have about an hour away from getting everything switched over to the new fuel system but I have to install the oil pressure relay to run the fuel pump, then try it out. I am hopeful this will all work. The regular needs to be set at...

    Vaporlock fuel

I ended up getting 1" carb spacers, added a fuel regulator with a return line to the tank, re done my fuel lines, and purchased an electric fuel pump with filters. I have it all installed and wired up except the oil pressure relay for safety and it won't run the fuel pump unless the car is...

    Support for the 2nd Amendment

The government wants to disarm us so they can do whatever they want. We need to clean house and get people in office that cares about the people. Law abiding citizens should be able to carry protection because you all know the criminals will have theirs.

    Vaporlock fuel

I have sbc 383, dual elderbrock 500 carbs. I believe I have vapor lock issue as I am understanding the symptoms. Not running well when it gets hot, not consistent idle, etc. Won't start when hot. I found a vapor lock filter that has a return line to the tank and it seems to have helped but I...

    Console blueprint?

Have any one custom make a console or have the blueprint of an original? I'm looking for measurements mostly or a PDF file do work off of. Mostly it will save me time VS starting from scratch. Thanks in advance.

If it's not one thing, it's another... Need some advice.

Ok, got it all back together starting with new parts to make sure it's perfectly smooth. I ended up removing the .030 spacer because it did not allow the clutch to fully disengage. The spacer kept the throw out bearing away from the pressure plate fingers. (Per manufacturer spects, I was right...

If it's not one thing, it's another... Need some advice.

The sleeve has an o ring on it and it slips over the input shaft bearing retainer. The throw out bearing also has o rings in it but also small ports so when you press on the clutch pedal, the pressure moves the throw out bearing to disengage the gears. Yes the bolt allows the bearing to stay in...
