    EXTERNAL AERODYNAMICS

More parts collections for a day when I have more time. Got two of these universal splitters for $50 each off FB. Apparently a customer ordered them and changed his mind. They sat on the shelf a while as shipping label was 2012. :) They go for $350 ea now. Look like fiberglass backed carbon...

Yeah, I figure you’ll be one of the more trustworthy drivers. I see the e-ray 4wd version runs about $10,000 less than the z06, but I’d really want extended warranty on the 4wd. Wait and see for now, no time for me for a new car now.

Weight reduction: Running out of ideas.

I put in a small square fuel cell that sits on the factory supports and the fill port lines up with the factory opening. You can’t see it from behind. My car had the crash container shield thing so the fuel cell saved a lot of weight.

C5 had two tanks, maybe use one.

Tanks are pretty heavy. You car is probably old enough not to have the steel crash protection cover. That thing is heavy. You can mount a small fuel cell pretty easy on the oem brackets. And, the fuel cell can’t be seen from the rear.

This probably doesn’t have any cert, but I’m thinking about using it as a passenger seat. Looks like a copy of a Kirkey pro street. 6 lbs, under $450 EDIT. Looks like it sold out...

Agreed. I might have to start attending some of those “high end” auctions. Seems like we’ve seen similar Corvette bargains in other videos.

The electric solenoid headlight conversion is pretty well documented diy project. Or, remove the headlights completely and install fill pieces. Those things are very heavy. I know you want to keep the stock look, so the vacuum tank might be easiest.

Amazon had the best price. I’ve seen other APR stuff on there at good prices, but don’t hesitate if you want it. Picked up a nearly new Kirkey the other day locally. When you consider no shipping, it was close to 50% off. The shipping and occasional movie makes my Amazon membership worth while.
