Ok, with my "perfect" english I will try to explane why, in my opinion, that spring have nothing to do with the soft pedal under boost.
The spring is before the diaphragm.... in other words the free stroke of the pedal is the same with or whitout vacuum.
In my modest opinion the weak area is...
I'm sorry..... but the spring you are talking about is the..... valve return spring !
The free stroke of that spring is in the range of 1mm..... and for your foot is like nothing !!
This spring allow a little free stroke of the rod in order to open the vacuun circuit as soon as you release...
The connection beetween the master cylinder and the pedal is a rigid steel rod...... so the booster can only act for you likke spinach for Popeye !!!
To increase you strenght.
I would check a couple of things :
Is the car braking with no booster (even with very big pedal effort) ?
Is...
Guys, someone is maybe involved in the fashion industry in the States?
I'm looking for distributors (or contractors) for high quality knitwear.... any kind os help vill be very appreciated !!!!
The noise is basically the same.... only with a bit lower pitch.
Yes, I have the pump and both filters (one before and one after the pump) in the spare tire area (no more spare tire).
Both high pressure and bypass lines are braided hoses, the pressure regulator is near to the front right...
I use one of that.
I have a big Aeromotive A1000 pump under the tank which was pumping a lot to much gasoline under light driving, so I istalled the speed regulator.
The one I have is only reducing the pump speed when the engine is under 3500 RPM.
The main purpose is to avoid to much bypass...
First of all..... even for me english language isn't the first skill !!!!
Yes, is an hydraulic e-brake. The system is quite simple, you need to split the brake hose going to the back and to connect the one coming from the cylinder in the "inlet" (which is where normally the oil reservoir is...
Maybe some grease in the compensation hole of your new booster?
In a very small hole even the pressure will act a very small force..... 1mm hole will result in some 0.8 grams of force @ 1 bar of pressure...... even a drop of grease can substain that force.
There is somethink not correct....
If your booster loses vacuum, your pedal will be rock solid, not soft !!!!
The only think reduced by poor vacuum is the brake assist, so you will need a very strong leg to stop your car.....
A soft brake pedal can't be caused by a low vacuum in the booster...
..... in a small racetrack here in Italy.
My brakes went too hot just when I reach the black Viper!!!:bomb:
As is easy to see I have some traction issue, may the 295 tires are too small.

Nice idea the "Le Mans" starting..... but the risk was to drive away with the friend with the camera not "enoughly" seated ! :twitch:
It was a dirty job...... but someone as to do it!
Now the final configuration :
The cage have 8 connecting points to the frame and is fully bolted.
It is possible to take out it from the car in 4 pieces.
The effect of the cage is a huge stiffening of the frame, I was able to...
