Interesting thread to read. Can you provide some information about the aluminum differential? I know Tom (Differentials) has been saying he's going to offer an aluminum billet differential case. Is this something from him? Is it a 82 aluminum differential case? Something else altogether...

That loooks pretty normal regarding the clip. It just has some wear on the posi unit. At least that has bee my experience on the aluminum diffs. I have 3 of them, one in the car and two sitting in the floor as spares. It also looks as if you have some wear on the cross shaft where the stub axles...

Do you mean that you have both pieces? LOL

The gear vendors pieces are bulletproof. I know guys running them in 1000+ HP applications.

Does anyone know of a way to test a wiper relay for a 1981? I do not have a known good unit to replace it and see so I would like to possibly test the one I have if possible before investing $$$ for another.

No ... not Boyd's. They are a one off custom design. I spent several years in the custom wheel industry a a engineer many moons ago and still have a few connections in the business and an oldfriend still in the business in So. Cal. did wheels for me.

Finally after months of waiting I finally received my new custom wheels.:thumbs: They are 18 X 8 fronts and 18 X 10 rears with Nitto 555's 245/40 front and 285/40 rear. Lowered the front and rear 1" but still would like another 3/4" to 1" more in front and possibly another 1/2" or so in the...
