    Admittedly I did hear some noise - I thought it was the old headers finally starting to leak. Turns out it was piston slap that went away after oil pressure built up. I took it on the highway after the car show and was driving rather conservatively when the piston separated from the connecting...

    Finally in for paint (after 18 years)

    Took the car to a show on Sunday and blew the engine on the way home. After I got over being depressed about it I went shopping online (isn't that what we all do nowadays?) and settled on a new Blueprint 383.
