Thought I would have some made. 12.9 oz each. One third the weight. Don't ask why, just because.

    Please help!!!!!!!

Do you need a 1/4"? My Western wheels just scraped the rear brakes. So I am running 1/8" spacers. I tried 1/4" but was also unconfortable with the thread engagement. The difference was enough that I believe there is adequate engagement on the threads with 1/8". George

Is having its 60th anniversary Corvette gathering in LA March 1 & 2. If anyone is interested in joining me on the 2nd in the morning, I would enjoy the company. Thinking I will take the big car and we can simply all pile in. Any interest? (I am in west OC anyone is welcome to come.) Maybe...

    1989 parts

Clutch Died. Driving the 405 freeway in SoCal traffic twice a day finally caused the clutch to have a heart attack and die in the 1989. Well, I am taking this as an omen that it is time to completely rebuild the car. (Please, no comments on the financial prudence of such a move.) Anyway, the...

    Car in for minor surgery

Last Bird Run gave the’89 a good shake down. In the shop today for a new water pump, clutch slave cylinder and starter. Considering the car is over 21 years old, it is allowed a little sip from time to time. Looking forward to the next time. George

Anybody with an 84 – 89 up in Canada?

Question: The Atari dash part number for Canadian units is different that the one for US units. And at one time, many an empty glass of Scotch left upon the bar, I knew the difference. I placed two brand new 1989 units next to each other; the US part number and the Canadian part number, and...

    Sink for the Shop

Life moves on. My Daughter moved back in so I lost my workshop. Any one need a Stainless Steel Sink, single basin with white fixtures? In decent shape, no dents from dropping car parts in it. Surface mount. Pick up or deliver if I am in your neighborhood. George

    ’89 sport seats.

’89 sport seats. Since money is tight, our straight A daughter is using the ’89 to go to school. (I am so proud.) I need to recover the seats and the bladders are trash. Anyone use something like those Blood Pressure Cuffs or anything else more durable to replace the bladders? Any other...

    It is too quite here:

It is too quite here: Getting my ‘89 ready for the bird run on 9-11. Well, blew the AC compressor. (after the head gasket went a few weeks back.) So how does one tell one’s wife that you have spent 3 grand in the last 3 weeks on a 20 year old car that she hates? And has only been in once in...
