Still debating on putting the original Turbo 400 in the 68 Vert with the late model LT! or going with an OD tranny. Found this 700R4 at a fairly good price out of a 99 Chevy pickup. Will it work? And what all would have to be modified/changed for it to go in the 68? Thanks!

Accidently started a pissing match over at that other place about whether my 94 LT1 I'm putting into the 68 Vette is internally or externally balanced. Which is it? If externally balanced, do I need a weighted flexplate for the Turbo 400?

Well, one bolt broke off during removal of the shaft. Welded a nut on it and broke it off again, flush this time. Drilled it out to retap it and the damn tap broke off in it. I'm done with this shaft. Anybody have an extra lower control arm shaft laying around they want to let go?

Opinions? Pros and/or cons for a mild street engine build? If ok for the build, what would you change on it? Found one with 40K on it and just curious if it was worth building and putting in the vette?
